President Joseph R. Biden Jr. made an unannounced visit to Kyiv on Monday, met with President Zelensky at Mariinsky Palace ahead of the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and announced half a billion dollars of additional assistance to Ukraine.
