Nikki Haley has officially ended her presidential race for the White House, officially handing the nomination to Donald Trump who dominated Super Tuesday.
Haley congratulated Trump in remarks on Wednesday morning and urged him to earn the votes of those in the GOP and beyond who did not support him during the primary season, but she did not appear to endorse him.
On Super Tuesday 2024, Republican front-runner Donald Trump won 14 out of 15 states, including the largest ones, California and Texas. Nikki Haley struggled to win one state, Vermont.
It was a brutal night for Haley, who won only Washington, D.C., and Vermont during the primaries, with her votes coming mainly from the Democrats.
Trump’s job will now be to unite the GOP and face President Biden in November while fighting what many believe are politically motivated cases in various courts.
